Elizabeth Fire Engine 6 is a 14,800 square foot structure with black masonry facade and steel skeletal with three fire engine vehicle bays and one ambulance bay. Also, there is a basement for storage accessed via the elevator. The project's scope includes epoxy floors at the vehicle bays, security cameras, alert system, full kitchen, gym, state of the art break away vehicle exhaust system, and sleeping quarters for 20 firefighters / three shifts. 

Engine 6 is a designated Safe Haven for the community because of having 100% emergency power. Also, the project is applying for LEED Certification
