JINGOLI added a 500-megawatt power block to an existing 500-megawatt power plant located East River of Astoria, New York. Project responsibilities included general services, civil, building erection, underground electrical, mechanical, piling and reinforced concrete foundation work.

• 20,000 yards of reinforced concrete.
• 60,000 lineal feet of concrete-encased UG electrical conduit and manhole vaults.
• 15,000 linear feet of UG mechanical piping.
• Erection of the turbine building, wind walls, and other plant structures.
• 1,600 auger cast pile installed to support the turbine foundations and other plant structures, including; the HRSG’s and Stacks.

Also, JINGOLI demolished the existing storage tank bunker and removed 30,000 yards of impacted soil from the site via barge on the east river. The installation and maintenance of temporary facilities and site management are also part of the overall site package.
